FOR its Spring 2025 pre-collection, Givenchy has tapped into Hubert de Givenchy’s classic dress codes. Confident, seductive and elegant, the Givenchy woman comes to life with signature silhouettes and archival volumes. Meanwhile, the menswear line explores similar sharp lines and refined fits for the latest ensemble.
Traditional house symbols have been expertly reinvented and reinterpreted for Spring 2025. Archival animal prints, pom-poms, bows, argyle prints and the newly relaunched Monogram 72 adorn and embellish a range of relaxed yet formal looks.
The Givenchy woman’s undeniable elegance shines in looks such as wool evening stole with a flared pant in pink cotton, or structural tuxedo suits with delicate draping for additional softness. Similarly, cheetah print brings playfulness to a statement coat and an archive-inspired evening dress appears with white feather minutiae – both referencing the founding couturier’s work from the late Sixties and early Seventies.
In terms of menswear, Hubert de Givenchy’s vibrant personality shines through tuxedo jackets and cummerbunds, which take on a punk-inspired subversion with flashes of rust or purple. Military-influenced pieces also make an appearance throughout the collection, bringing versatility and adaptability to the centre of the seasonal offering.
A Seventies-era cat print is reborn as camouflage with glowing emerald-tone eyes on a jacket, whereas a classic duffel coat is cut from teddy fabric.
Through careful juxtapositions and detailing, the collection’s undeniable allure expands to its accompanying accessories. The Voyou bag is seen in a variety of materials and textures, including patent, suede and plush shearling.
Additionally, the Spring 2025 pre-collection sees the debut of the new crossbody Pumpkin bag – the ultimate relaxed day-to-day companion. Available in patent, cracked leather and shearling – as well as in a mini with a chain strap, fur trim and beading – the Pumpkin bag is an exciting new addition to the Givenchy wardrobe.
For men, Givenchy continues its partnership with Bogs and has released an elevated-outdoor low hiking boot with embossed 4G logos and contrasting laces. Further references to Hubert de Givenchy can be seen with a leather and suede moccasin, exuding Parisian chic and refinement.
Finally, the Givenchy jewellery collection continues to enthral with 4G Liquid crystal fringe pieces in silver-tone and strass, which the House’s iconic pearls are seen on silver and gold-tone necklaces, bracelets, hoops and drop earrings.
Available online and in-store starting in October, the Givenchy Spring 2025 collection beautifully redefines tradition with innovative design and craft.
