Taking inspiration from the magnetism of the scent with its fresh, luminous notes, the two behemoths of Hollywood have joined forces for the first time to translate Bleu into a visual story. Using the fragrance as a tool to help portray a new side of a man, in this case the actor, the campaign follows the quest for truth.

Building upon the current culture of fame blinding reality, Chalamet plays a man who tries to discover who he is by following his instinct rather than listening to the noise around him.

“The world has changed,” notes Scorsese. “There’s another aspect to celebrity in a way. Which is even more extreme than 10 or 15 years ago”. Nowadays people in the public eye are prescribed to live a watered-down version of themselves to save the scrutiny from social media.

This film flashes between black-and-white shots with flashes of blue to break up the narrative, showing the difference between celebrity persona and true identity. Ending in full colour, his character finds his inner truth with the message: ‘Find your blue, find yourself’.
